1. About these terms

bharatbazaar.co (the “Website”) is operated by Tapovan Impex Private Limited (“Bharat Bazaar”, “we”, “us” or “our”), 1101–1102, 11th Floor, KLJ Tower, Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, New Delhi 110034, India.

These Terms of Service apply when you browse the Website or buy from us. Together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, they form the agreement between you and us. By using the Website or placing an order, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. Using the Website

  • You must be at least 18 years old to place an order, or use the Website under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
  • You agree to give accurate, current and complete information when you place an order, and to keep any account details and passwords confidential.
  • You must not use the Website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, upload harmful code, copy or scrape its content, or interfere with how it works.

3. Our products

  • We sell Indian spices, rice, flours, lentils, bakery products, dry fruits and festival products. We describe and photograph them as accurately as we can, but product images are for illustration. Packaging, colour and appearance may vary slightly, especially for natural and handmade products such as diyas and idols.
  • Please read the ingredients, allergen information and storage instructions on the pack before use.
  • Product descriptions on the Website are for general information only and are not medical advice.
  • Some products are shown as not available for online purchase. For these, please contact us.

4. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Applicable taxes and delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Prices and availability may change without notice. If a product is listed at an incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after it has been confirmed.
  • Payments are processed securely by our payment partners at checkout. We do not store your full card details.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a product is out of stock, there is an error in its price or description, or we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund the full amount. We may also limit the quantities sold per order or per customer.

6. Delivery, cancellations and refunds

Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy, and cancellations, replacements and refunds by our Refund Policy. Both form part of these Terms.

7. Purchases on other platforms

Bharat Bazaar products are also sold on Amazon, Blinkit, BigBasket and Swiggy Instamart. Purchases made there are covered by those platforms’ own terms and policies.

8. Reviews and other content you share

If you post a review, rating, photo or video, you confirm that it is your own, honest and lawful. You allow us to display it on the Website and in our marketing, free of charge, with the name you provided. We may remove content that is offensive, misleading or unlawful.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Website, including the Bharat Bazaar name and logo, our product brands, photographs, text and design, belongs to Tapovan Impex Private Limited or its licensors. It may not be copied or used without our written permission.

10. Third-party services

The Website uses third-party services such as payment gateways, courier tracking and product reviews, and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties.

11. Privacy

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics or courier disruptions.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

13. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for any loss or claim arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Website.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you place an order applies to that order.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
